The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA), focusing on industrial and high-tech clusters, represents a unique union formed in response to the war in Ukraine. Initially established as Clusters4Ukraine in March, the organization rapidly evolved and renamed itself the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance. It now unites 60 cluster organizations, encompassing over 2,000 enterprises and research institutions. The UCA’s mission is to align the Ukrainian cluster movement with the principles of EU cluster policies, working closely with European clusters. Its coordinated national-level activities aim to cover all main Ukrainian industries, focusing on the internationalization of Ukrainian clusters. The structure of UCA emphasizes smart specialization, integration into European value chains, innovations, digital and green transition. Not only essential to the survival of Ukrainian innovative manufacturing enterprises, but UCA also stands as a key player in Ukraine’s Recovery Strategy for sustainable economic growth.
